Our mission
South Asian Association of Bedford (SAAB) is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and cohesive community that celebrates and honors South Asian culture and traditions. Through a variety of social, cultural, and community events, SAAB seeks to enrich the Bedford area by bringing together hundreds of South Asian families, encouraging unity and cultural pride.
By providing a platform for South Asians in Bedford to engage and be represented, SAAB not only nurtures integration within the broader community but also ensures that the rich tapestry of South Asian heritage is woven into the local cultural fabric. Through these efforts, SAAB aims to strengthen communal ties and enhance multicultural understanding.

At this event, the noted author celebrated for her exploration of diverse borders will deliver a short presentation, share select excerpts from her books, engage in a Q&A session, and autograph books (also available for sale that night). The Parents Diversity Council is hosting this event and is proud to co-sponsor it with Bedford Public Schools, the South Asian Association of Bedford (SAAB), MSPA, BEST, and the Bedford Free Public Library.
